This video shows Caroline's creative process as she explores London's flower markets and gardens in preparation for her annual summer residency at Graham Fine Art gallery in London's fashionable Crouch End.

Well what is it, "arbor" or "arbour"?
Good question. The Grammarist says, "Some words end in -or in American English and -our in British English. These words come from two languages, French words which end in -ur and Latin words which end in -or. After the Norman conquest of England, French spellings with endings of -our became preferred. In the United States, the 1828 Webster’s dictionary settled on the -or endings of such words, which perpetuated this type of spelling in the United States."
However the reason both words are used interchangeably on carolinezimmermann.com is more nuanced. The original painting seen above and in the video was created in London and exhibited briefly at Graham Fine Art before it was snatched up by a local Crouch Ender. So it was natural to use the British spelling and call it the "The Rose Arbour". Same with the video title. Also, Caroline's husband has always favoured the British spelling of words. But then when we wanted to upload the video to carolinezimmermann.com after it had been on YouTube for some years, we needed to alter the title slightly so that the video would garner it's own SEO, and not compete with YouTube. We don't want people going to YouTube we want them coming here.
