Caroline Zimmermann was born in Anaheim, California in 1964. She began painting with oils from the age of six.
Caroline studied at California State University and the California College of Arts and Crafts where she graduated with both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees. Caroline has featured in a number of documentaries and written many books about art.
Caroline is a contemporary impressionist, she works in oils on wood panels, linen or canvas. Her paintings are of scenes and moments from her life and travels, she says “I paint to live and I live to paint”.
Caroline divides her time between homes and studios in California and Tuscany.
Caroline Zimmermann’s work is presented in a number of galleries in the United States, Europe and exclusively in the United Kingdom by Graham Fine Art (Crouch End).
